Rita Ora and Taika Waititi will host MTV's EMA's Nov. 13

The world's most prestigious awards are set to be co-hosted by Rita Ora and Taika Waititi at the MTV EMAs on Sunday, November 13, and will be televised live from Düsseldorf, Germany. Following their summertime covert wedding, Rita Ora and Taika Waititi, a dynamic duo, will be presenting the event this fall.


With 13 Top 10 singles overall, Ora holds the record for the most Top 10 singles by a British female artist in the UK. Four of her tracks reached No. 1 in the UK and currently the release of Ora's third album, which is scheduled for 2023, is now under development. Taika has been an influential and powerful presence in New Zealand for years as a performer, comedian, visual artist, director and a recipient of an Academy Award.


The influential couple stated that, “We’re excited to host this year’s MTV EMAs and celebrate the best musicians and performers from around the world,” said Rita Ora and Taika Waititi. “We look forward to sharing the evening with all of these talented artists." The MTV EMAs, one of the year's greatest international music awards ceremonies that honors the most popular musicians all around the world, feature entertainment audiences a distinctive, multi-platform journey throughout MTV's wide network among more and over 170 countries worldwide. Voting is open to the public until November 9 at 11:59 p.m. CET on www.mtvema.com in 17 gender-neutral categories, ranging from "Best Song," "Best Artist," "Best Collaboration," and two brand-new categories, "Best Longform Video" and "Best Metaverse Performance."
