RAMS OFFENSE LOOKS MAGNIFICENT AS SKILLED POSITION PLAYERS SHINE IN TRAINING CAMP
The Rams offense is looking spectacular in training camp. Their one and two WRs (Cooper, & Puka) came into camp in impressive shape according to Coach McVay. Their performances and effort in practice seems to be proving him correct. Using the draft, the Rams have added another talented notable WR to their receiving core. The Rams drafted Jordan Whittington in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. It has been noted that Whittington is a quick learner, and some have said he could be used in a role similar to how the SF 49ers use Debo Samuels. When asked about being used like Debo, Whittington smiled, and said that he'd loved to be used in that fashion, as he complemented Debo on being a great player, and his appreciation of the welcoming nature of the Rams receiver room.
The Rams already have one of the most talented receiving corps in the NFL. They feature Kupp and Puka, however they're air raid arsenal also includes standouts like Robinson, and Tutu. The addition of Whittington will definitely strike fear into opposing Defensive Backs. I could hear a bit of frustration in Rams Defensive Backs as they exited the field after Saturday's practice.
