The Las Vegas Raiders pulled off a Week 2 upset over the Baltimore Ravens. There were several moments where it looked like the team was about to return to its old ways. During the second half, Las Vegas had to contend with two 10-point deficits; one at the beginning of the third quarter with 16-6 and the other one during the fourth quarter at 23-13.

Gardner Minshew, however, seemed to snap out of his slump during the last few minutes of the game, as he targeted wide receiver Davante Adams and rookie tight end Brock Bowers down the stretch. Adams finished with nine catches for 110 yards and his first touchdown of the season. Bowers also had nine grabs for 98 yards and several big first downs. I will say Brock Bowers is a star in the making

A combination of Daniel Carlson going four for four on his field goal attempts as well as the Raiders’ strong defense led by Maxx Crosby (six total tackles, two sacks, four TFLs, and a pass defended) and linebacker Robert Spillane (10 total tackles and two passes defended) led to the Raiders pulling off an unexpected upset.

A much-needed boost of confidence was instilled in the team by Minshew's performance. It was his ability to connect with key players such as Adams and Bowers that not only demonstrated his leadership, but also galvanized the entire team. The comeback victory will likely serve as a turning point, fostering a stronger sense of unity and belief in their potential for the rest of the season.
