Rachele Royale gets transparent about her past

During BET weekend, we got to spill some positiviTEA at the Sofitel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills to celebrate Amare Magazine’s Essence issue featuring Oscar De La Hoya and Holly Sonders story “A Countdown on Love.” Of course, some communiTEA is involved if I was in the building. A portion of the proceeds from the event went to The Oscar De La Hoya Foundation, which is dedicated with bringing a better quality of life to the community they serve by creating and maintaining a state-of-the-art cancer center, a charter high school, labor and delivery center, and a neonatal intensive care unit.

As I hit the red carpet, I had the chance to spill the tea with a queen who has her own spread in the essence issue. Writer, actor, producer, and independent artist Rachele Royale shared a vulnerable side of her story that is not even in the magazine, exclusively with us! I asked the singer songwriter what made this particular magazine spread special and the response I received was unexpected.

“I am a survivor of my mother’s suicide I lost her in 2009, and I have finally gathered the strength to use my platform and tell my story with my new show”. The show is called Haus of Royale and this star plans to share the unique stories of people with the hopes of healing, uplifting, and inspiring those who can relate.

“Haus of Royale” brings heart and edge to all of the taboo topics you thought you knew something about, including mental health awareness. Host, Rachele Royale is a survivor of her mother’s suicide, a pop singer in the seedy music industry, an exotic dancer and an advocate for women (and men) speaking up about their untold stories. In depth, hilarious and heart wrenching interviews with celebs bring insight and take the shame out of the archaic narratives that have held us back for too long.

This goes to show how important it is to be transparent on our journeys because its healing for you and others more than you know. Negative things will always happen in life but its up to you to heal and find that cup of positiviTEA on the other side. Be sure to check tap in to the positiviTEA Haus of Royale with Rachele has to offer right now on Youtube. Here’s a sneak peak of what you can expect Haus of Royale Trailer.
