After the Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots in a 29-13 walk off Super Bowl victory, many fans had questions about Seattle's future. Sam Darnold has proven that he belongs i the NFL and has had a Kurt Warner and Nick Foles type of season; however, a lot of people wanted to know if the Seahawks were going to lock him down with a max contract and give him the keys to Seattle since he won them a Super Bowl.
Darnold has improved in the last two season, and it is very apparent that his stock has risen from the ground, especially with a Super Bowl victory on his resume. Givin the fact that the Seahawks are young, there has been speculation that they will probably give Darnold what he wants and lock him in for a while.
Outside of that, does Cooper Kupp retire and ride into the sunset. Kupp did not really have one of those outstanding seasons nationally that fans are accustom of seeing. Kupp finished the season with 47 touches for 593 yards and 2 touchdowns. If he wanted to Kupp could come back and mentor, the young and talent players that Seattle has. Right now, there hasn't been any indication or timetable about the retirement phase for Kupp.
Lastly, Klint Kubiak, who has been the Seahawks OC has decided to take his talents to the Raiders. It's going to be very interesting to see who the Seahawks would plug into the role. Whoever, it is, will have their hands full
Even though these are the questions that are lingering within the 12's during the off-season, right now, they are worried about partying and celebrating their Super Bowl on Wed.
