Philadelphia defeats the Titans in run-away game

Philadelphia- Jalen Hurts had an exceptional game in a victory over the Titans 35-10.



The Eagles have made some noise defeating teams that they were supposed to handle this season, but their real challenge was facing Derrick Henry and the flying under the radar Titans. Jalen Hurts must have heard the chatter, because he came out the gate flying high. Midway in the second quarter, Hurts had over 200 yards through the air, but that good deed was erased because penalties were killing drives. In one quarter, Philadelphia had five holding penalties. The Eagles ended the first half on a good note, scoring a touchdown with .56 seconds left in the second, to go in the locker room with a 21-10 lead.


Philadelphia continued to keep their foot on the pedal in the second half. What was impressive was the way they kept Henry and that Titans' offense off the field. They ate up a lot of the clock by managing their time of possession and was proactive with extending drives by converting on third downs. By the end of the game, the Titans only had 87 yards on the ground.


Hurts finished the game with 380 yards through the air, 12 yards on the ground, and three td's
