Met Gala will return in September and their focus will be on American fashion

New York- The anticipation of the return of the Met Gala has been answered. The prestigious event will return in September with a two part exhibition.

The museum will celebrate the return of the Met Gala with honoring American fashion in a two part series. In the first series called In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, styles will be shown in a series of events from September 18, 2021 though September 5, 2022.

The second series will start May 5, 2022 and will end September 5, 2022. The second series will be called In America: An Anthology of Fashion and will focus on the development of American fashion.

In September of this year, the first pat of the exhibition will be more of an intimate setting, as guests will wear face coverings and abide by the COVID-19 safety protocol.
