Los Angeles Dodgers donate $100,000 to the LeBron James Family Foundation
Los Angeles Dodgers President and CEO Stan Kasten presented the LeBron James Family Foundation with a check for $100,000 on behalf of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The foundation’s I PROMISE Program serves more than 1,500 at-risk students and their families by providing fundamental resources, family support with college scholarships, and gateways to higher education. In addition to the resources, the program also provides transitional housing and longer-term housing.
The foundation of the program is dedicated to helping at-risk youth succeed academically by creating a supportive, nurturing environment to learn and grow. The school implements specialized programming to foster social-emotional learning for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students.
