Lakers squeeze past Spurs 109-103
Los Angeles- Anthony Davis finished with 34 points in a victory over the San Antonio Spurs
Davis set the tone early for the Lakers. He was getting the shots that he wanted and was knocking them down. Davis was hot from behind the arc, he shot 4 of 6 from the three point strike and finished 13 of 26 from the field. Davis hit some crucial shots in the fourth to stop the Spurs from taking the lead. Inside presence was the key factor with helping LA pull out the victory. They had 36 points in the paint.
Collectively, the Lakers had trouble getting the ball in the basket. They shot around 40% from the field and shot 42% from behind the arc. Turnovers and missed shots, kept the Spurs within striking distance in the fourth. LeBron James and Anthony Davis decided to take over the game, which was the spark LA needed. They went on a 12-6 run to close out the game and get the gritty win over the Spurs.
