The Lakers big three sent a message to the Bucks in a lopsided victory.

Even without LeBron James being in the lineup, the Lakers' superstars stepped up in a big way. Luka Doncic, Ayton, and Austin Reaves combined for 86 points. From start to finish, the Lakers put the Bucks in a blender, trying to stop their up-tempo offense. Things got a bit testy in the third quarter, as the Bucks cut the Lakers' lead to 14, but Luka went on his own 8-0 run to put the Lakers back up with a sizeable lead.
After the game, Lakers HC JJ Reddick had to say this about LA's performance. “We knew they were gonna make a run,” Coach JJ Redick said. “They didn’t shoot the ball well in the first half. A few of the [3-pointers] were 3s we were willing to live with a couple of their lasers missed some decent looks. We did a pretty good job of closing out. We actually responded twice: they make the run, we get back up 22, they cut it down again. And then, Luka and AR, like they did all night, just led us. And like they’ve done all season. Those guys have done an amazing job of leading our basketball team.”
