Lakers hang on late in the fourth to pull out the victory over the Nuggets 114-108

Orlando- The Los Angeles go up 3-1 in the series against the Denver Nuggets after defeating them in Game 4.



LeBron James and the Lake show had a decent first half, as they built up a double digit lead early, but the Nuggets' confidence grew as they were hitting shots and putting pressure on the Lakers' bigs. One of the bright spots for the Lakers in the first half was Dwight Howard activeness on the glass. Howard had some key put backs and was effective on the defense end, as he had a couple blocks. Outside of James, Kyle Kuzma, Anthony Davis, and Howard, the Lakers' bench struggled to get anything going.Late into the second quarter, the Nuggets went on a 14-5 run, as Jamal Murray was lighting the Lakers up. At the end of the half, the Nuggets cut the Lakers' lead to five, 60-55.


Second chance opportunities was the theme for the Lakers, as they pounded the glass and was a menace to the Nuggets. However, the Lakers left the door wide open as the Nuggets went on a 8-2 run to cut the Lakers' lead to five after being up by 12 points.


With under two minutes left in regulation, James went to work on the Nuggets' defense and got himself to the free throw line to give the Lakers a cushion. The Lakers got a much needed rebound with .45 seconds left to finish out the game with a victory.


Davis finished with 34 points, 3 assists, and 5 rebounds

James finished with 26 points, 8 assists, 9 rebounds

Howard finished with 12 points, 1 assists, and 11 rebounds
