Kayla McBride drops 28 in a win or go home game against the Sun

With their backs against the wall, the Minnesota Lynx extends their series with a 82-75 victory over the Connecticut Sun, forcing a winner take all on Wednesday.

After getting beat out the gym in Game 1, the Lynx went back to what they knew and put the ball in their playmaker's hands, and it worked out well. Kayla McBride was cooking the entire game and put her team in position to potentially extend the series. From hitting open shots to forcing steals, McBride put the team on her back.

With under three minutes left in regulation and clinging onto a four-point lead, McBride put the vision goggles on and found Napheesa Collier under the basket to extend the lead to six. Each time the Sun hit a clutch bucket to close in on the lead, the Lynx would answer right back. The Lynx went on to a 8-2 run in the last two minutes of the game to force a Game 3. Collier and McBride accounted for 54 points.
