Here's a recap of PFL Playoffs media week

Phil Jones

It's Media Day for the PFL at the Hyatt hotel in Washington D.C. members of the media and

fighters will be calling this home for the next few days. So, let's get started!

The 2024 PFL Playoffs begin this Friday but, before that happens at The Anthem here in

Washington D.C. majority fighters get to speak with media on preparations for the PFL Playoffs

Friday night. Top PFL featherweight fighter Gabriel Braga of Brazil and on the red corner, comes

in with an outstanding record of 14-1 will be facing off against undefeated fighter Timur Khizriev 16-0, 2-0 in PFL. Braga, who came up short last year in the PFL championship fight, looks to claim victory and win the $1 million dollar prize.

These matchups won’t be an easy cake walk at all Featherweight fighter Kai Kamaka for the US will be another fighter on the card Friday night looking to be a spoiler for the blue corner to face another top featherweight fighter Brendan Loughnane UK 29-5.

With the PFL and Bellator merging together, the energy is different in a

positive way “guys are loving to put in so much work to get better” said Kai Kamaka III.

Welterweight fighter Neiman Gracie 13-5 of Brazil is looking to get the belt, “The belt has so

much more meaning to me than the money” Gracie said at the presser. Gracie looks to show off his Jiu-jitsu vs, Magomed Umalatov 16-0 from Russia. One thing I will say is I am interested in Khizriev vs. Braga matchup. Seeing someone who had the opportunity to train with UFC

Lightweight Champion fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov. Fighters that train with him go through an extreme regiment for their training. Will see if it pays off this Friday night.
