Amazon video is now in the fight game and their much-anticipated PPV debut now has a date card and now main event and co-main. The date will be March 30th the place will be Las Vegas. The three big fights set for the card will be headlined by Tim Tszyu (24-0, 17 KOs) vs Keith Thurman (30-1, 22 KOs), Rolly Romero (15-1) vs Issac Cruz (25-2-1) and Erislandy Lara (29-3-3, 17 KOS) vs Michael Zerafa (30-4, 19 KOs).

First in the main event, Tim Tszyu, the WBO junior middleweight champion, will not be defending his belt. As, the WBO declined to sanction the bout, so it will take place at a 155-pound catchweight without the title on the line, sources said.Tszyu (24-0, 17 KOs) had a breakout year in 2023 with wins over former titleholder Tony Harrison by ninth-round TKO, Carlos Ocampo by first-round knockout and Brian Mendoza by unanimous decision. The 29-year-old Australian said after his win over Mendoza in October that he would fight exclusively in the US going forward. This will be Tszyu's introduction fight to America.

As for his opponent Keith Thurman he has one career loss, against the legendary Manny Pacquiao in July 2019, when Thurman was floored in Round 1 and rallied before dropping a split decision. Thurman is a former world champion who is coming off a 25-month layoff. Thurman owns quality decision victories over Shawn Porter and Danny Garcia in 2016 and '17, respectively. Tszyu was set to challenge Jermell Charlo for the undisputed junior middleweight championship last January before Charlo withdrew with a hand injury. Tszyu went on to win the WBO's interim title and was later elevated to champion when Charlo was stripped.

The co-main event will be for a title. As champion Rolando Romero (15-1, 13 KOs) will make his first defense of his 140 pound belt. Romero is establishing himself as one of the most brash fighters in boxing. The 28-year-old won the title in a controversial  ninth-round TKO victory over Ismael Barroso in May. Barroso dropped Romero in Round 3 and didn't appear to be in serious trouble when the referee stopped the bout. Cruz (25-2, 17 KOs) will move up to 140 pounds for his first full-fledged title shot. He challenged Gervonta Davis for a secondary lightweight title in December 2021 and dropped a competitive decision in a fight that made a name for himself. The Mexico City native has won three bouts since the loss, victories over Yuriorkis Gamboa (TKO 5), Eduardo Ramirez (KO 2) and Giovanni Cabrera (split decision). Cruz hasn't competed since the win over Cabrera in July.

The card will also feature WBA middleweight champion Erlislandy Lara who himself is coming off a 21 month layoff. Lara is a tough fighter but  isn’t active enough he will fight his mandatory challenger Michael Zerafa who isn’t really known in America. The event marks the start of PBC's partnership with Amazon's Prime Video, though the PPV will also be available on linear television.
