ESSENCE secures the bag with major partnership for ESSENCE FESTIVAL 2022

We all know that ESSENCE Communications Inc. is the number one and only 100% black-owned-media, technology, and commerce company serving women and communities, and today they spilled the tea on the sponsors for this year’s ESSENCE Festival of Culture Presented by Coca-Cola. The bag has been secured as they are now major partners with AT&T, Ford, Walt Disney Company, Target, and UnitedHealth. This year’s festival is going down in person June 30th-July 3 in New Orleans as well as virtually on www.EssenceFestival.com.



“At ESSENCE we often say that the revolution must be financed. Our revolutionary intent to return Blackness to Greatness through the Black woman, requires an ecosystem of passionate and committed partners and allies to be achieved,” said Caroline Wanga, ESSENCE CEO. “So as we embark upon the nation’s largest festival by per day attendance, the ESSENCE Festival of Culture is honored to be returning with a family of partners that we are aligned to in mission and purpose, now and in the future.”


We can expect tons of impactful moments and positiviTEA, a night of laughter with comedic rockstar Kevin Heart along with some unforgettable performances. The lineup this year includes legendary names like Janet Jackson, Nicki Minaj, New Edition, The Roots, D-Nice, The Isley Brothers, Summer Walker, Jazmine Sullivan, Wiz Kid, TEMS, Beanie Man, country music artist Mickey Guyton, Method Man, Raekwon and Ghostface, thee Patti Labelle, Stephanie Mills and Miami’s finest due in rap, the City Girls.


Now for the ladies who can’t make it no worries ESSENCE has extended virtual programs designed to inspire, delight, educate and support community growth to their dedicated global audience. So you can still get the tea from the experts on the panels, and summits, view the musical performances and connect with the girls.
