Dodgers Set The Roof On Fire With 22 Homers in a victory over Diamondbacks

LOS ANGELES- Two grand slams and players with multiple homers lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 22-1 over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Mookie Betts and Justin Turner both cranked a grand slam each. This Dodgers team had eight home runs all game, which was a franchise record. This was followed by a two home run game from Albert Pujols and AJ Pollock.

Other Dodger teammates that sent it deep were, Cody Bellinger and Zach McKinstry. This game proved that this Dodgers team is a powerhouse. Scoring this much in a game is unheard of for most teams. Not the Dodgers though, they last scored 22 runs in 2001 in Colorado.

Walker Buehler went out there for six scoreless innings. The ace pitcher seemed to find his way striking out seven batters and only allowing three hits. “ I know it was nice to have Walker come out and throw the ball well…” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said.

The Dodgers were so confident in their team that during the fourth inning, they started pulling their starters out of the game. This allowed the bench players to get some more reps and experience for this team. “It was good to get some guys off their feet early and get some other guys at-bats and just get to the next day,'' Roberts said.
