Dodgers' continue their winning streak

Los Angeles-The Los Angeles Dodgers come back with a massive seventh inning over the Washington Nationals to pull out the 10-5 victory.

After Meeting with the President of The United States to celebrate their 2020-2021 World series, the Dodgers played lights out in the later innings against the Washington Nationals. The game started off rough as pitcher Julio Urias allowed three runs in the second inning.

This was not Urias best performance as he only struck out three batters and allowed three runs in six innings. Urias still came out with the win, advancing his record to 10-3 on the year. Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts had this to say about Urias, "To grind him, get him out after six innings I thought was a win in itself."

After being down 3-0, LA scored one run in the fifth inning. This opened the door for the nine run seventh inning for the Dodgers. This was made possible by a Mookie Betts two run single, followed by an A.J Pollock two-run homer. Now being a half game behind the San Francisco Giants for first place, the Dodgers are looking in sync.

Next up for the Dodgers, Clayton Kershaw (9-7) will take the mound and attempt to keep this win streak alive against Nationals Pitcher Paolo Espino (2-2).
