On Saturday, Deontay Wilder made his anticipated way in into the ring to fight Derek Chisora in London. As expected, Anthony Joushua was in attendance to see what Wilder would bring to the table, as a potential match between them two has been brewing for a while.
The match went 12 rounds with the unexpected happening. It was not a traditional match of finessing power, but more of the aspect of haymakers that connected, which turned into a brawl. At one point in the later round, both Wilder and Chisora almost went over the ropes as they both were trying to gain momentum in the fight.
In the 10th round, Wilder tagged Chisora with a fury of punches that made him go under the ropes for a knockdown count. Right after that unorthodox play, Wilder slipped on the canvas after avoiding Chisora's jab and that was called a knock down. I mean, it was one crazy round after another.
After the bell sounded to end the 12th round, Wilder felt like he had won the fight. He was correct as two judges gave him a win in the card, and another felt like Chisora did more. With this victory, this may have set a new vision for Wilder and an Anthon Jushua fight
