Cowboys skin Eagles in the battle for the NFC East division 33-13

With the Eagles losing against the 49ers last week, Dallas had the chance to make things pretty interesting in the race for the playoffs if they could pull out a win. In their last match-up with Philadelphia, the Cowboys shot themselves in the foot with crucial penalties with under a minute left in regulation. The question going into this heavy weight game was could the Cowboys keep the penalties to a minimum.

Just like the last month, Dallas got their offense rolling and put up 24 points in the first half on an Eagles team that has been struggling to get it togther. Dak Prescott was playing free and lights out as he coordinated drives and the bright spot of it all was getting the ball out and on time. The offense was clicking and so was the defense. Jalen Hurts did not have enough time to throw ball to his star players. AJ Brown and D. Smith combined for 77 yards and four catches in the half..

Dallas wanted to keep the same energy as they did in the first half, because they knew that Philadelphia is the king of the hill when it comes to comebacks. The Cowboys forced a turnover and continued to put pressure on Hurts. It was to the point that you could see the Eagles' frustration and it boiled over on the sidelines. For the consecutive week, Dallas made sure they put the world on notice with a blowout victory.
