Chiefs OLB Coach Britt Reid involved in a car accident

Kansas City- Andy Reid's son Britt Reid was involved in a car accident on Thursday night.

According to the police report, Reid reportedly made contact with two vehicles that were parked and had their hazard lights flashing, because they had ran out of gas. A young child had to be transported to a local hospital with reportedly life threatening injuries.

The Chiefs' organization are gathering more information as all details are coming in and investigated. "The organization has been made aware of a multi-vehicle accident involving outside linebackers coach, Britt Reid," the team said in a release statement "We are in the process of gathering information, and we will have no further comment at this time. Our thoughts are prayers are with everyone involved."

Reid has been with the Chiefs' organization since 2013.
