Breanna Stewart was the hot hand in a victory over the Sun 89-66.

Seattle, WA- Breanna Stewart was dominate in a victory over the Connecticut Sun.



Stewart started the game sizzling from inside the painted area. She had the Storm's first eight points in the first quarter and went on to have a monster half. Stewart was doing it on both sides of the ball. While she was scoring effortlessly on the offensive side and getting her teammates involved with her precise passing, Stewart made it hard for the Sun to get anything going on the defense end.


Stewart made sure that DeWanna Bonner did not have a huge impact on the game. Stewart made Bonner work for every point and blocked her shots a couple of times. Outside of Stewart, the Storms's bench had a phenomenal game. The bench combined for 30 points in the victory.


Stewart finished with 22 points and 9 rebounds.
