The latest WWE Premium Live Event (PLE) delivered a thrilling night of action with jaw-dropping matches, incredible comebacks, and unexpected twists. From Roman Reigns’ intense beatdown from Bronson Reed and Bron Breaker to Seth Rollins’ hard-fought battle in the main event, the show left fans on the edge of their seats.
Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed (w/Paul Heyman) – WWE Universal Championship
The night kicked off with an epic showdown between Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed for the WWE Universal Championship. The audience was immediately hyped, with chants of "OTC!" echoing through the arena as Reigns made his grand entrance. Accompanied by Paul Heyman, Reigns entered as the dominant champion, but Reed had something to prove.
The match began with Reed asserting his physical dominance, shoving Reigns and flexing in self-satisfaction. Reigns quickly retaliated, lifting Reed onto his shoulders in a display of strength, only for Reed to counter and slam him onto the mat. A furious battle ensued, with both men exchanging brutal blows, including Reigns' Drive-By and Reed's devastating Uranage. Reed looked strong throughout, but it was Reigns who sealed the win with a Samoan Drop followed by a devastating spear for the three-count.
However, the post-match was where the real drama unfolded. After an intense back-and-forth, Heyman was forced to hand over a set of sneakers to Reigns. In an unexpected twist, Reigns locked Heyman in a guillotine, leaving his longtime advocate unconscious. Just as Reigns stood victorious, Bron Breakker made his presence known, launching an ambush on Reigns, leading to chaos at ringside.
Reed and Breakker’s assault continued, with Breakker spearing Reigns into oblivion, and Reed landing a Tsunami on the already injured champion. The situation became so heated that GM Adam Pearce ejected Reed and Breakker from the arena, warning them of severe consequences if they didn’t comply.
WWE Tag Team Championship: The Wyatt Sicks (w/Erick Rowan, Nikki Cross, Bray Wyatt) vs. The Street Profits (w/B-Fab)
Next up, the tag team scene saw The Wyatt Sicks—featuring Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy, backed by Bray Wyatt and his eerie faction—take on The Street Profits, with B-Fab by their side. Tensions were high after Bray Wyatt’s psychological tactics sought to undermine the bond between Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford. Despite a strong start by The Profits, including high-flying moves and well-timed tags, it was the Wyatt Sicks who prevailed. After a brutal exchange, the Wyatt Sicks secured the win after executing their Plague finisher on Ford, capturing the WWE Tag Team Championship in a thrilling bout.
Becky Lynch vs. Nikki Bella – WWE Intercontinental Championship
In a historic clash between two icons, Becky Lynch defended her WWE Intercontinental Championship against Nikki Bella in their first-ever singles match. The action was fast and furious, with Becky using her technical prowess to gain the upper hand early. But Nikki showed resilience, landing her signature moves, including a Manhandle Slam and applying the Fearless Lock. Despite Nikki’s best efforts, Becky rolled her up for the three-count, retaining her championship and proving her dominance.
Rusev vs. Sheamus – Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Match
The rivalry between Rusev and Sheamus reached its peak in a brutal "Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook" match. The two warriors used every weapon at their disposal kendo sticks, chairs, and even whiskey barrels as they brawled their way through the match. Rusev dominated for much of the contest, hitting Sheamus with a brutal Accolade, but Sheamus fought back with a White Noise through two tables. Ultimately, it was Rusev who came out on top, tapping Sheamus out with the Accolade, cementing his status as a top WWE contender.
John Cena vs. Logan Paul
John Cena took on the self-proclaimed social media king, Logan Paul, in what was billed as a clash of eras. Logan’s athleticism was on full display as he took Cena to his limits with his high-flying moves and innovative offense. Cena, however, showed why he's a living legend, fighting back with his iconic moves like the Attitude Adjustment and Five Knuckle Shuffle. After a dramatic back-and-forth, Cena sealed the win after landing a final Attitude Adjustment, silencing the critics and earning a standing ovation from the crowd.
Fatal Four-Way Match for the World Title: Seth Rollins vs. C.M. Punk vs. L.A. Knight vs. Jey Uso
The main event saw WWE's finest go head-to-head in a fatal four-way match for the World Championship. Seth Rollins, C.M. Punk, L.A. Knight, and Jey Uso put on a show for the ages, each vying for the top spot in the company. From Punk and Knight’s early back-and-forth exchanges to Jey Uso’s surprise high-flying offense, this match had it all.
The action escalated quickly as tables were introduced, bodies were thrown to the outside, and each competitor took turns hitting their signature moves. Seth Rollins and C.M. Punk had their issues, with Rollins even bringing a chair into play. But it was Becky Lynch who shocked the world when she appeared masked and attacked Punk, allowing Seth to hit the final stomp and retain his title.
After the match, Rollins embraced his wife, Becky, as the crowd erupted in cheers. It was a shocking, dramatic conclusion to an incredible night.
