WWE to honor Bray Wyatt with Peacock documentary

Windham Rotunda aka Bray Wyatt is one of the most beloved figures in all of sports entertainment. In wrestling circles Wyatt or Rotunda was a rockstar; he was best known as a storyteller. He started using the catchphrase "follow the buzzards'' and the song lyrics "he's got the whole world in his hands." During his entrance, with the arena in darkness before he appeared holding a lantern, fans would hold up their cell phone lights as his eerie music played.  The Wyatt family was a beloved stable


His untimely passing this past August sent ripples through the sports world.  WWE is remembering him with a new documentary project. Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal, narrated by The Undertaker, will explore the career of Bray Wyatt, featuring emotional and insightful interviews throughout the documentary from those who knew him best, including members of his family as well as WWE Superstars Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Becky Lynch, Triple H, and his brother Taylor Rotunda. 


Premiering on April 1, the documentary offers an intimate look at Windham's rise to fame, and his amazing life. The official synopsis reads: "Bray Wyatt is one of the most revered and mysterious characters in WWE history. "The story behind that character and the man himself, Windham Rotunda, has never been documented until now. Using never-before seen interviews and exclusive backstage footage, Windham Rotunda’s inspiring story unfolds.This documentary chronicles Windham’s incredible rise to worldwide fame as a WWE superstar, and the struggles and success that came with being a creative visionary. Sadly, in August of 2023, Windham passed away at the age of 36. In the wake of his untimely death, Windham leaves behind a family still grieving with loss as they celebrate a lasting legacy that continues to create and inspire."
