San Francisco- The Warriors are the 2022 NBA Finals Champions.

With a chance to blow out the candles on another championship, Golden State looked very confident stepping into the hornets'nest in Boston for Game 6. Shell-shocked was the word that started off the first quarter. Golden State looked confused when Boston posted them up as soon as the ball hit the floor. The Celtics took advantage of the smaller line-up and went on a 12-2 run to start the game off.

The Warriors survived the first Celtics punch, but a couple of key players for Golden State got themselves in foul trouble mid-way in the first quarter. Klay Thompson and Kevon Looney combined for four fouls. However, the Warriors went on a 10-2 run to take the lead at the end of the first.

Just like that, the Warriors were up 10 within a minute of the second quarter. They were very active defensively and forced Jayson Tatum and crew to take some ill-advised shots. Jordan Poole was just swimming in confidence and was hitting everything. At one point, he had 11 points in seven minutes. Golden State was on point the remainder of the quarter, causing havoc for the Celtics and went into break with a 54-39.

The second half was a bit more stiff defense from both teams Golden State went up 22, but Boston kept themselves in the game and cut their lead to a dozen late in the third. The Warriors were clinging onto a 76-66 lead at the end of the third. Despite the Warriors getting cold from behind the arc, they were in the bonus with their transition offense, turning defense into offense.

After a hard fought quarter, the Warriors walked away with some hardware and another franchise championship.

Curry finished with 32
