Warriors are returning to the NBA Finals

San Francisco- Golden State sealed the deal against Dallas and will face either the Heat or the Celtics, 120-110

After being dominated and destroyed on both sides of the floor in Game 4, Golden State had a chance to come back home and celebrate with their home base if they could get the win tonight over Dallas. Things were going well for the Warriors in the first quarter until the organization had to hold their breath. Stephen Curry was guarding Luka Doncic on a high pick and roll and looked like he rolled his right ankle on a non-contact play. Curry stayed in the game, but was more a passer than a shooter the remainder of the quarter

Jordan Poole started feeling himself in the second. Poole started attacking the Mavericks aggressively. From handing out dishes to hitting shots, he got the Warriors rolling on a 12-4 run to extend their lead to double figures. Klay Thompson, who has had a nightmare in the first half of this series, started to heat up the scoring pot. Thompson finished the half with 17, while the Warriors were rolling 69-52.

The second half, the Warriors put the slow-tempo Giants to sleep with their shooting from behind the arc early in the third. Golden State shot around 49% from the land behind the sea with Thompson leading the sea. However a 22 point lead was erased to 10 at the end of the third. Nervous fans were biting their fingernails at the start of the fourth. The Warriors went on a 12-6 run to take command of the game and went back up 17 with eight minutes left in regulation.

Golden State put the clamps on Dallas late and sent them packing home with a memorable loss.

Thompson finished with 32 points.
