Things to look out for during the upcoming 85th Masters
Augusta, GA- The 85th Masters may be unique in a way and certain golfers will not be in attendance.
There is speculation that limited fans will be able to watch the three day event in person, but the PGA committee has not decided at what capacity. The golfers playing in the tournament will be narrowed down to around 90, which is much smaller compared to last year's Masters.
The tournament will include an invitation criteria for players who won tournaments last season from the restart in June to the Valero Texas Open gets an automatic bid to the Masters. The top 50 golfers in the world will earn an automatic bid as well.
Right now, there are 85 players who are playing in the tournament and in a couple of weeks, we will see the finalized slate.
This Masters will be up for grabs for anyone. Tiger Woods will not be playing in this tournament due to a car accident in which he suffered leg injuries. However without him in the line-up Daniel Berger, Rory Mcllroy, Angel Cabrera, and Trevor Immelman have a great chance of putting together three days of nice golf and could potentially run away with getting a green jacket.
The Masters will start April 5-11.
