In an explosive return to WWE programming, The Wyatt Sicks made a dramatic reappearance on Friday night's WWE SmackDown, sending shockwaves through the arena during the main event of the WWE Tag Team Championship match. The match, which saw The Street Profits defending their titles against the challengers Fraxiom, was building toward an intense climax when the lights suddenly went out.
When the lights came back on, the arena was left in stunned silence as the full Wyatt Sicks faction stood in the ring. Members including Uncle Howdy, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, and Joe Gacy had all emerged to make their presence known, instantly altering the course of the match.
The interference came at a crucial moment, just as Montez Ford of The Street Profits had ascended the ropes in a high-risk attempt to take out the challengers. In a shocking turn of events, Lumis seized the opportunity to pull Ford off the top rope, taking him out of the equation. The chaos didn’t stop there, however. The Wyatt Sicks unleashed their fury on both The Street Profits and Fraxiom, but their wrath didn’t end with the two teams involved in the match.
#DIY, consisting of Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, attempted to intervene but were quickly overwhelmed by the group. The Motor City Machine Guns, arriving in an attempt to level the playing field, were similarly taken out by the Wyatts. This overwhelming display left the WWE Universe in awe, as the faction effortlessly dismantled everyone in their path.
The violence wasn’t just confined to the men’s division. Nikki Cross, not missing a beat, targeted Candice LeRae, who had earlier rejoined her husband, Johnny Gargano, and Tommaso Ciampa in the ring. Meanwhile, Uncle Howdy capped off the chaos by delivering a brutal Sister Abigail to Gargano, solidifying the group’s dominance in the segment.
In a poignant and emotional moment, the Wyatts honored the memory of Bray Wyatt, who tragically passed away in 2023. During the segment, the faction revealed a birthday cake adorned with candles to commemorate what would have been Bray Wyatt’s 38th birthday. The act served as a heartfelt tribute to the late Wyatt, showing that his legacy continues to influence the group and the entire WWE Universe.
The Wyatt Sicks' return marks their first significant appearance since December 9 on WWE Raw, where they were defeated by The Final Testament and The Miz. It was previously revealed that the faction had been drafted to SmackDown earlier this year, but due to Bo Dallas reportedly being sidelined, the entire group had been kept off television.
With their return, it’s clear that The Wyatt Sicks are back to disrupt WWE programming in a major way, and their future on SmackDown is certain to be filled with even more intensity and drama.
