After getting a near victory against the Storm, the Fever was focused on getting their first victory against the Sparks. In order to do that they would have to slow down Cameron Brink and the young LA team. Just like the last few games, Indiana had to dig themselves out of a double-digit lead in the first half. Caitlin Clark was more of the passer than the aggressive scorer. She finished the half with 5 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Coming out the second half, the Fever got the medicine that they needed and went on a 10-2 run to take their first lead of the night. Things got a bit messy for the Fever late into the third quarter, as they had five turnovers and four points in the last two minutes of the third. One of the bright spots for Indiana was their defense on LA. They forced six turnovers and had the Sparks trying to find their light, as they put them into the torture chamber. A. Boston was money throughout the night and that continued in the fourth. Boston had a few key blocks which helped the Fever secure their first victory over the season

Boston and Clark combined for 28 points in the 78-73 victory.
