The Los Angeles Dodgers continued their recent struggles Tuesday night, falling 6-2 to the San Francisco Giants at Dodger Stadium in another frustrating performance for the defending champions.

The loss marked the Dodgers’ fourth straight defeat, with each loss coming by at least four runs. Manager Dave Roberts acknowledged the club’s recent offensive issues before the game, saying the team is “not performing up to expectations.”

Pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto took the mound for Los Angeles but endured one of his roughest outings of the season. The right-hander surrendered three home runs for the first time in his Major League career as San Francisco’s lineup stayed hot throughout the night.

The Giants jumped ahead early behind a solo homer from Rafael Devers, who finished with two hits, two RBIs and three runs scored. Willy Adames and Jung Hoo Lee also delivered key RBI hits during a decisive seventh inning that broke the game open.

Los Angeles struggled again at the plate, managing only two runs. The Dodgers’ offense has now scored three or fewer runs in 10 of its last 13 games.

One bright spot for the Dodgers was the return of Mookie Betts, who rejoined the lineup after missing more than a month. However, Betts finished just 1-for-5 as the team could not generate consistent offense.

The Giants bullpen shut the door late, while Los Angeles relievers continued to struggle protecting close games. The Dodgers now find themselves searching for answers as the slump deepens during an important divisional stretch.
