Despite Kawhi Leonard being hurt and not playing at 100%, he put up efficient numbers, (25pts, 8 boards, and 1 dime) in a loss to the Pelicans.
This game was a tale of two different halves. For the most part, the Clippers jumped all over the Pelicans and skipped to a double-digit lead in ta blink of one's eye. The Klaw from start to finish was killing the Pelicans with from behind the arc. Outside of Kawhi, John Collins impacted the game and was on a heater. By the time the half ended, the Clippers and Pelicans were knotted up.
Turnovers were a huge part of the Clippers' second half melt down. They had crucial turnovers, which garnished into fastbreak points for the Pelicans. On the other side of the ball, they had no answer for Saddiq Bey as he lit the Clippers a new one. He hit four three pointers in the third and all of a sudden, the Clippers were down double digits.
Brock Lopez and Leonard tried to keep the Clippers in the game it he fourth, but the Pelicans were more active on the boards and hitting their three points shots.
