The Baltimore Ravens may have gotten one good linebacker in Teddye Buchanan, who is one unique person all-together. He hair has been one of the topics that a lot of people discuss, because it's wild and all over the place, but his work ethic has been on display and boy the Ravens picked up a player that likes to hit. Defensive Coordinator Zach Orr has been impressed with what he's seen thus far.
"Teddye plays like a Raven. [On] his college film, he flies around, and he seeks contact. He can play in space, and he's a smart player," Orr said. "I'm excited about Teddye. We're throwing a lot on his plate. He's playing both positions for us – Mike, Will, and dime – and he's done a good job going out there so far."
The young rookie has had one heck of a journey and continues to show why he may get more playing time as the season progresses. There is a lot of room for growth and Buchanan has stated that he wants to earn the spot. Heading into training camp, Buchanan will be competiting for the starting or back-up position, as well as inside LB Trenton Simpson. It will be very interesting to see how the Ravens will play this card, because Buchanan is very gifted with his hands, speed, and makes impact plays when the game is on the line.
