After having a few months to enjoy their Super Bowl victory over the Chiefs, the Philadelphia Eagles went right back to work, and it showed with their young QB Tanner McKee having a heck of a game against the Bengals.

McKee was a skilled assassin curving up the Bengals in the first half. He was reading the defense pretty well, escaped the pocket when he felt pressure, and lastly, he was mistake free. He went 20 out of 25 for 252 yards and 2 touchdowns. After the victory, coach Nick Sirianni liked what he saw from the young QB and had this to say about McKee.

"He played good. No, he did a lot of good things. Went to the right place with the football, was accurate. Had really good operation, him and [Offensive Coordinator] Kevin [Patullo], a lot of communication. And [Quarterbacks Coach] Scot [Loeffler]. Yeah, he did a really nice job."

Right now, McKee is fighting for the back-up position, and he has put his name in the I am him box. It will be very interesting to see where and how the Eagles will implicate him into the offense more in the next few weeks.
