Suns win with Kevin Durant making his home debut vs the Timberwolves 107-100


The Suns won their third straight game with Kevin Durant’s long-awaited debut Wednesday night with a 107-100 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.


With a slow start Durant ended the game with 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Devin Booker scored 29 points and had five assists. All five starters reached double digit points.In a back to back game the Suns didn’t have the best shooting game, Durant missed his first 6 shots and finished 5-of-18 shooting. “He doesn’t miss a lot of shots… he’s one of the few guys that feels like he should make every single shot,” Suns coach Monty Williams said. They still managed to lead to the game for the majority of the time.

Cam Payne came off the bench scoring 11 points and was 5-of-10 shooting. On the defensive side, Both Deandre Ayton and Bismack Biyombo had three blocks each. They were able to limit Towns to just two points in the second half, although he still had 25. Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 31 points.

Suns got away with a win and will be hosting the Nuggets on Friday.
