Soul legend will perform during Juneteenth celebration

Amazon Music's Black music brand, Rotation, celebrates Black Music Month with “Forever in Rotation,” honoring Black artists who redefined music. As part of this celebration, multi-Grammy-winning icon Erykah Badu will perform an exclusive livestreamed concert, “Badu Presents: " on Juneteenth (June 19) in her hometown of Dallas, TX. The concert will take place at The Bomb Factory in Downtown Dallas, featuring iconic classics and fan favorites. Fans worldwide can watch the broadcast on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch at 9 p.m.  CT. Fans in Dallas can get free tickets via AXS. 

The show will be opened by rising Dallas rapper Tye Harris and hosted by hip-hop commentators Wayno, Nyla Symone, and Mouse Jones. Sierra Lever, head of hip-hop and R&B for Amazon Music, stated, “Erykah is a true, one-of-a-kind innovator, a visionary who has redefined music multiple times over, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring this moment to her fans around the world.”
