Right before he got the start in his preseason debit with the Cleveland Brown, Shedeur Sanders had one heck of an off-season. Despite him putting up numbers and taking Colordo to a bowl game, people talked about the schools he played. During the NFL Draft, he was passed on by teams that need a quarterback like him. The Browns decided to take a leap of faith on him and drafted him. Now, you would think that Cleveland would mold him into the QB that drafted, nope! Sanders has had an up and down roller coaster ride with the organization. Sanders was awarded the starter position in his debut, and he made a lot of doubters eat their words.
Now, a lot of people may talk about the poise that he had in the pocket, but could we talk about the placement of some of his throws. Two of his touchdown passes was in a tight window, with defenders riding his receivers back. He went on to finish the game 14/23 for 138 yards and 2 td's Cleveland went on to get the victory 30-10.
When asked about his performance, Sanders rated it a c+ and said that he has a lot to improve on. For his first start, he looked the part of what the Browns are looking for at that QB position.
