On the game tying conversion, Darnold threw a backwards pass that hit the Rams' helmet. The ball went flying in the endzone and was recovered by Seattle to force OT.

In OT, the Rams scored a touchdown to go up a score, Darnold being Darnold, led the march down the field, scored a touchdown and converted their third 2-point conversion to shock the Rams. Seattle is the first team in NFL history to end a game in OT with a 2-point conversion.
