Pink will receive the ICON Award during the 2021 Billboard Music Awards

Los Angeles- Iconic music artist Pink will be awarded the ICON Award during the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.

On Tuesday, the BBMA's announced that they were going to give PINK the ICON Award for her influence in the music industry. Pink has influenced many artist around the globe with her music, as well as her style over the years. Pink is the 10th artist to win the ICON award.

Pink was excited when she found out that she was going to get the iconic award and had this to say about it. “As a little girl, I always dreamed about being a singer and sharing my love of music with the world,” says P!NK. “Years later, to receive the Billboard Music Awards Icon Award is hard to fathom! I feel so honored to join the ranks of music idols like Cher, Garth Brooks, Janet Jackson and Stevie Wonder. It’s a true ‘pinch me’ moment and I feel humbled and blessed.”

The Billboard Music Awards will broadcast live May 23 at 8 PM, ET.
