After another sonic the hedgehog comeback in Game 1, the Pacers heading into Game 2 wanted to cut down the margin of turnovers and allow the game to come to them. Despite their victory in Game 1, they had 20 plus turnovers that gave OKC an advantage. The first quarter for the Pacers was very different than the previous game. They were getting after SGA defensively and made him uncomfortable with throwing the sink at him each time he touched the floor. He finished the quarter with 6 points; however, Chet Holmgren was the player that impacted the quarter with 9 points, 4 blocks, and 2 steals.

OKC who is known for their runs, went on a 15-6 run early in the second quarter to go up 15. The Pacers' offense looked out of sync late in the quarter and was shooting around 45% from the field. I guess something was said after Rick Carlisle took a timeout, because the Pacers were a different team. Pascal Siakam started to put his imprint on his game and scored a quick seven points and helped cut the Thunders' deficit to 17.

The second half was very much similar to Game 1. Each time it seemed like OKC would blow the roof off the building with their runs, the Pacers would counter and make a run of their own. Indiana was getting the shots that they wanted but they could not stop the outside shooting from OKC, as they were sizzling from behind the arc. OKC were shooting around 40%, while the Pacers were shooting around 32%. The Pacers just could not get it done offensively and now go back to Indiana with the series tied 1-1, 123-107.
