Coming into this match up, you knew that both the Pistions and the Magic match-up pretty evenly across the board. Orlando shocked the world in took Game 1, but Game 2 was a bit different. Desmond Bane was the mouse that could not find the homepage, meaning, he was nowhere to be found. He struggled to find his shot and finished the game with only 12 points in 34 minutes on the floor.
While we are talking about players who could not be found, the inconsistent button, found its way back to Pablo Banchero. He went 7 out of 17, 0-2 from the three, and finished with only 18 points.
For the most part, the game was pretty competitive until the third quarter. That quarter, the Magic's struggles were pretty evident and that is when Cade Cunningham and the pesky Pistions went on a 38-16 run to and opened up the game. Orlando attempted to come back in the fourth, but Detroit was hitting everything and eventually won the game.
