The return of the NBA on NBC started off with a bit of a delay, mic not working and nervous tension among the talent, which was producing the games tonight. However, as the night got clearer, so was the flow of the broadcast as well as the game. Let's take you out to a reap of the OKC game. Right before tipping off the opening game, the Thunder raised their first championship title which brought the fans to their feet.
After their brief ring ceremony, OKC and the Rockets went head-to-head. We are going to take it to the fourth with under a minute left in regulation. Kevin Durant hit a tough shot to put the Rockets up a bucket. With the game on the line SGA expressed vocally to his teammates to give him the ball and he scored the tying bucket to for OT. Both teams were so good with soring and did not want to go home that they ended up going into a second OT. With the game on the line SGA called his number and forced Kevin Durant to foul him. He sunk both of the free throws to put the Thunder up 1 and eventually won the game 125-124. SGA finished with 35 points.

The night cap game between the Golden State Warriors and the Lakers was pretty much lopsided until late in the second half. Jimmy freaking Butler was insane in this match-up. He was hitting all of his shots and make the Lakers pay as they could not find a math-up that help them out. Without LeBron James in the line-up, Luka Doncic attempted to will the Lakers to a victory. Luka Magic finished with a blistering 43. The Lakers made the game interesting with three minutes left in regulation as they went on a 10-0 run, however the silent NyQuil in Steph Curry poured in a knockout three to put the Lakers' comeback to sleep 119-109. Butler finished with 31 points!
