Nipsey Hussle will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on his birthday

Even though Nipsey Hussle is not with us in the flesh, the marathon continues, and so does his positive impact on hip-hop culture in his hometown, Los Angeles.. Among 38 honorees for the class of 2022, Nip will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on his 37th birthday Monday, August 15th.

The city and his family continues to honor his legacy in more ways than one. CBS Los Angeles has reported that the new station in the city’s metro rail will be named after him. This station located at Nipsey Hussle Square will serve as the Hyde Park K-Line and will be one of eight stops in some of the oldest neighborhoods in Los Angeles.

Still buying the block in spirit, Nipsey’s estate including his brother Blacc Sam celebrated the grand opening of The Marathon Collective -a premiere THC dispensary- back in June. His story proves that our legacy and purpose live beyond our physical bodies. Our impact and influence will affect people beyond our presence, so let’s make it a positive one like Nipsey Hussle.
