Nearly 35 million viewers watched Paris Olympics on NBC, Peacock, NBCU Platforms on Saturday night

The second Saturday of the Paris Olympics was the focal point of NBCUniversal’s historic viewership that was just shy of 35 million (34.6).  Streaming service Peacock delivered the 3rd best usage day ever that was led by the Paris Olympics and WWE SummerSlam.  Featured on Saturday night was Olympic Gold medal gymnast Simone Biles, Gold medal swimmer Katie Ledecky, and Track & Field Silver medalist Sha’carri Richardson and Bronze medalist Melissa Jefferson.  Saturday’s coverage was streamed by 4.4 million viewers on Peacock and NBCU Digital platforms.  WWE SummerSlam and the Paris Olympics contributed to Peacock’s 3rd best usage day ever.
