Miami started the game against Notre Dame aggressively. Carson Beck threw for two touchdowns in the second quarter and put Notre Dame in a blinder as they jumped out to a 14-point lead. The Hurricanes were very efficient as they gashed the Fighting Irish for over 100-yards on the ground. Let's us head to the fourth quarter, as things got a bit intense. Miami's defense got a little bit conservative, and the Fighting Irish took advantage of it. Down by 10- Cj Smooth Carr scored marched his team down the field and got a field goal to cut the lead to seven and the next possession he threw a bomb to his receiver for a 45-yard bomb. Two plays later, they tied up the game.
