With going deep in the NCAA tournament, Texas has high hopes with getting there. They are one of the few teams that a lot of fans are picking after defeating South Carolina in dominating fashion in the SEC Championship game. On Friday, the Longhorns faced Missouri State and danced all over them.
Madison Booker was a bully in this game. She picked apart Missouri State and had herself a stacked out stat sheet. She finished with 14 points, 12, rebounds, and 3 dimes. From the start of tipoff to the end of the game, the Longhorns put so much pressure on Missouri State guards, and it worked out. While we praise Booker, you have to put some respect on Jordan Lee, who was the team's leading scorer with 19 points, 2 dimes, and 2 boards. Lee, had that get out my way and let me dance on them, type of mindset. She pretty much set the tone and that was the spark that the Longhorns needed.
