Los Angeles- The Lakers' offense could not survive OKC's up-tempo battle and fell short.

The game of the night that a lot of people felt was going to be lose fell on deaf ears as OKC put on the jets and floated away from a close game. The Lakers attempted to climb out of a 30-18 deficit early on, but the Thunder's flurry of up-tempo offense had the Lakers stuck. Usually, Luka Doncic sprints with scoring 20 or more buckets in the first half this season, but today he was locked up and finished with 19 points, shooting 7 out of 20. Outside of Luka and Austin Reaves not really having an impactful game, LA turned the ball over 20 times.
After the game, Reaves had this to say. “To be blunt, they beat the s– out of us tonight,” Lakers guard Austin Reaves said. “And there’s a lot of basketball to be played. We feel as if we can get to that level. Just tonight, we (weren’t) anywhere close to that.”
The Lakers' defense tried their best to stop SGA, but he posted 30 points and 9 dimes.
