Joyce Edwards made the USA Women's 3×3 National Team that will compete at the 2026 FIBA 3×3 World Cup in Warsaw, Poland, June 1-7. As you might remember, she helped the USA qualify for the tournament by winning a pair of games on the FIBA 3×3 Series earlier this month.

It is Edwards' seventh selection across all USA Basketball events since her first selection in 2023. During the 2025 FIBA American Cup, 2024 FIBA U18 American Cup, and 2023 FIBA U19 World Cup, she won three gold medals. Her debut season in the format was last season, and she thrived in the format this season with the wins that qualified the United States for the World Cup.

Edwards is joined on the U.S. team by MiLaysia Fulwiley (LSU), Mikaylah Williams (LSU) and Sahara Williams (Oklahoma). During May 24-25, the team will report to training camp in New York before spending May 26-31 in Warsaw in preparation for the start of the tournament on June 1.

The 2026 FIBA 3×3 World Cup is in its 10th edition and will stream live on YouTube.com/FIBA 3×3.

The 3×3 competitions are played on a half court with a 10-minute clock and a 12-second shot clock. The first team to 21 points or the team in the lead at the end of regulation is the winner.

With a strong roster and experience in high-pressure tournaments, the U.S. team should dominate the competition. Players like Edwards and Fulwiley have proven their ability to excel in fast-paced, dynamic play. Their cohesion and skill set make them formidable opponents, likely positioning the U.S. as favorites to secure another gold medal.
