Jags breaks the Voldemort curse and finally pulled out a victory over the Dolphins, 23-20

Jacksonville- The Jags did the unthinkable and crushed the Dolphins' chances at the end of regulation.

The game between the Jags and the Dolphins was played early on in London. Big Ben could not help the struggling Jaguars in the first half. Dropped balls and a lot of confusion killed drives and it looked like the Jags' couldn't buy productivity until something big happened late in the second. With under two minutes left, Trevor Lawrence orchestrated a very gutsy touchdown drive. On a fourth and short, Lawrence saw a match-up that he liked and threw a 28-yard touchdown strike to Marvin Jones, which cut the Dolphins' lead to three at the break, 13-10.

Despite all of the misfortune, the Jags was in a great position to settle the critics down and get their first win of the season. For the first time this season, the Jaguars scored on back to back possessions. James Robinson scored a one-yard touchdown on their opening drive to take the lead for the first time of the day, 17-13. However, the curse of the Jags' happened with three minutes left in the third quarter.

Jacksonville looked like they were in position to gain more points on the scoreboard, but Lawrence fumbled the ball and the Dolphins swam to recover the fumble. Two plays later, Jacksonville picked off Miami. Once again, the Dolphins did not take advantage of the short field. Urban Meyer decided to go for it on a fourth and two and did not convert the down.

Going for it hurt the Jags. The Dolphins went the length of the field and retook the lead with under 10 minutes left in the game, 20-17. Would the questionable decisions of going for it on fourth and short, haunt the Jags once again? The Jags tied the game up with a 54-yard boot with under three minutes left in regulation, 20-20.

After stopping the Dolphins on a fourth and short, the Jags was in the driver seat to win the game with good field position and three timeouts. Jacksonville won on a 53-yard boot and got the monkey off of their backs.
