Hulu runs the Emmy nominations with 58 nods
Los Angeles- With the Emmys right around the corner, nominations were announced Tuesday afternoon with Hulu Original shows taking a huge leap from last year.
Shows Only Murders in the Building, Dope Stick and The Dropout has gotten some huge nods this year. Outside of Hulu getting those 58 nominations, Disney in total doubled their nominations and had a combination of 147 nods.
This year the competition was very diverse and was very effective with reaching different audiences around the globe.“This year’s Emmy nominations reflect the depth, breadth and quality of Disney storytelling that’s only possible because of our talented teams and amazing creative partners,” said Bob Chapek, chief executive officer, The Walt Disney Company. “We are humbled that so much of the great work done across our creative brands has been recognized, and we look forward to bringing even more great storytelling to life as we approach Disney’s second century.”
It is a very exciting year to sort of kick off the Summer "Awards' season with all these great shows that were inspiring, thoughtful, intriguing, and dang right binge watchers. Let's see what actress, actor, producer, and or show will take an Emmy home with them September 12th.
