There is never a moment when the LSU Tigers' women's basketball team is not on the prowl under the guidance of head coach Kim Mulkey. Dushawn London, a national basketball recruiting analyst with 24/7 Sports, reports that five-star point guard Jezelle "GG" Banks has committed to an official visit from September 4-6.

Currently playing prep ball at The St. James Academy in Virginia, Banks has grown into the sixth-ranked player in the 2027 national recruiting class. In back-to-back years, GG was named the Gatorade Girls Basketball Player of the Year for Delaware before transferring out of state.

A 5'9" combo guard, Banks has the versatility and ball-handling skills to run an SEC backcourt, especially a Mulkey-coached one. Though the fact that LSU has managed to attract Banks is certainly a positive sign, the young player has several offers from big programs across the country. She could land anywhere in the country with her talents on the hardwood.

Kim Mulkey is renowned for her exceptional coaching record, leading multiple teams to national championships and consistently developing top-tier talent. Her leadership style combines strategic prowess with a keen ability to motivate and inspire her players. This makes her one of the most respected figures in women's college basketball. Mulkey's influence extends beyond the court, as she builds programs that excel academically and athletically.
