For the first time ever, ESPN and the WWE will broadcast the first hour of Day 1 of WrestleMania. The program started out with John Cena hyping up the WWE Universe as he hosted his first WrestleMania. Jey The six-man tag match kicked off the night, and it was a bit overwhelming. IShowSpeed cost the Vision the victor. Logan Pail was pissed and took it out on IShowSpeed. It looked like Paul was going to leapfrog splash on speed, but LA Knight intervened and help speed. Knight slammed Pual on the table and encouraged Speed to get on the tight rope and do his own version of the frog splash in which he landed, capping off his WrestleMania moment.

The next match was a bloody war between the "werewolf" in Jacob Fatu and Drew McIntyre. In this unsanctioned match any and everything could go. Both wrestlers pulled out toolboxes, belt, , tables and chairs, trying to destroy each other. Fatu had a couple of times where he was building his momentum and pinned McIntyre. Fatu got the win as McIntyre was hit in the head with the toolbox on top of the table and Faut hit the moonsault to leave Vegas with the W.
